Original linoprint, unframed
The migration of the godwit from Alaska to NZ is the longest known non-stop flight of a bird. Their round-trip is over 29,000 km. It is always exciting to see them return to NZ with some traveling as far as the SubAntarctic Islands. This linocut was based off a photograph I took in the Catlins, NZ
